Palin

Last week my Uncle Doug asked me what I thought of Sarah Palin as McCain's VP selection. I essentially told him that I didn't know (in a more sarcastic manner as is my tendency). Since that time I've been doing some homework and of course her speech last night was very good. Did anyone else see her speech last night? I was really impressed by her. She is completely relatable and genuine. I never thought McCain had a chance to win the election until last night. It's too bad she's not the main ticket. (ron paul/palin would be sweet) Anyway if you didn't see the speech you should find it and read it/watch it. I would just post the youtube sections of the speech but they are about 8 minutes a piece. Please check it out though, home girl is legit and it would appear that we may end up with a person in the white house (although a vp instead of a p) who is actually in touch with the pulse of the country and not constantly flip flopping on important issues or just listening to special interest groups... and I gotta say that its nice to watch someone speak that doesn't make you want to vomit by the sheer sight of them, there are some really rough looking characters in politics. PS barak sucks. if you disagree please let me know why.

Amen, brotha!! I especially liked the part about how her opponent looked down on her being mayor and she was like "let me explain what the job involves...it's kiiiind of like a community organizer, except as mayor you have ACTUAL responsibilities." haha I'm lovin' Palin too!!

How can you even say that Barak sucks? He's got an awesome song out by Will I Am, and sweet shirts that say "Obama-nation". So what if he has no experience, has flip flopped on every major issue, and has continued contact with known terrorists. All I'm sayin is think about it. Or are you racist ;)

I love Palin, she's from my mom's hometown, and my Aunts still in AK love her. John was really sad when Ron Paul was edged to the sidelines, he cheered during the debates during all of his comments. The Barack Nation is going to end up being France, with all the socialist measures and anti-war setiments. I thought Palin's comment about the two memoirs for Barack was hilarious.

Great Post Eric,
After seeing her and John speak, I really believe they are both good and honorable people who love this nation. My optimism and enthusiam regarding the outcome of the election has escalated.
