Lots of Nothing

We've had requests for Eric and I to appear on the blog more often, especially since I have this massive baby bump to show off that gets bigger by the day. However, I'm sad (and a little embarrassed) to report....I broke our camera. Therefore, we are currently in the market for a new one. We have our eye on a couple, but its hard to bite the bullet and actually spend the money. If you have suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them.

In other news, Jack has started going to nursery!! We're so excited to finally be able to participate in all of church again. He doesn't really love it yet, but it gets progressively better each week. He finished his very first swim lessons last week. We went to a mom and me class for 2 weeks. It was fun to watch him try all the things they asked him to do, but he mostly just looked and them and said yeah, and then didn't do anything. I don't think we'll be going back for the next session. Maybe next year.

Eric has been working really hard on the 8th street house. Its looking really good! Part of me is tempted to just move in there when he's done, but its not quite big enough. We'll put pictures of the finished product on, but not yet. Eric is dying to get the house done so he can have a break. If he's not inspecting houses, or working on appraisals, he's working on the 8th street house. He can't wait until he's able to wake up on a Saturday (without an alarm) and do whatever he wants. He'd love to start cycling again, but it hasn't happened yet.

I'm constantly growing. I wake up some mornings and am surprised at how big I've gotten because I swear it happened over night. Addie is one busy baby. She kicks constantly. I love it, even though sometimes it hurts. Her favorite spot is up in my ribs.

That's it for us!

I was wondering where the posts had disappeared to? We just got a new camera a couple of months ago. I know what you mean. There are so many options out there and they can get pretty pricey. We just ended up getting a Sony Power Shot 7.2 megapixels. I really like it so far for just day to day pics. Good luck with that!
ps I can't wait to see the baby bump and I hope Eric can have a break soon.

A new post?!? Yea!! That stinks about the camera tho. We just got a new one for Christmas last year (it was a black friday special-so we had to get it at like 5am!!) It's a Kodak(suuuper easy to use) and it's somewhere in the 8 megapixel range, so the pictures come out really clear. So is Addie going to be the baby's name?? Cute! It goes with Jack really well!! I need help on a boy name (I'm not trying to do the C/P thing anymore)!! Love Ya!!

I'm sorry for the loss of your camera. I still have to buy a new phone, but i've been putting it off and putting it off because of money. Don't you hate it when this stuff happens. Anyway, our camera is a canon power shot elph and we love how small it is, how big the screen is, and all the fun little features. I'm sure you already have an idea of a camera you want though. I wish I could have seen Jack swimming... Good Luck with the house Eric. I can't wait to see pics!

so, you broke your camera, huh? are you sure it was an accident? i seem to recall you guys talking about how you wanted a nice canon. maybe you thought this would speed up the process?
well, we really like our camera (even though i kinda broke ours, too). it's a kodak easy share and it's 12 mega pixels. i think it takes good pics and vids. i really like taryn and brady's too.
yea for nursery!!! griff goes in a few weeks!!!! can't wait!

i can't believe that jack is big enough for nursery! yay! the camera breaking sucks! we have a nice cannon, it may be the same as brady and taryns, it says cannon pawer shot elph on it.....its an
SD800 IS....whatever that means. but i did drop a couple of times so now it makes funny noises but it still takes great pictures! :) haha. im a clutz!

ps. I love hearing about how big you are getting! i know you probably hate it, but i love hearin how you guys are calling her addie already! she is gonna be beautiful!

ppss. i also love the name addie cause it goes with maddy, as in maddison, so dont use that name! we have it picked out! (no we are not expecting!)

Yay for nursery- what a different church experience when that happens. I hope he likes it. On the camera thing- we also have a cannon power shot elph. It may not be as nice of a model as the others, but the battery pack lasts a really long time and it's a rechargeable one (it comes with it usually). The con about that is that if you lose the charger (which I have and haven't broken down to buy another), then you can't put regular batteries in it. Other pros are that it's slim, big screen, pretty user friendly. There are several photographers in our ward and they have said that Canons are among their favorite cameras especially for non professionals like us. Hope that helps. Hurry and get a camera so we can see your Addie bump :) Sorry this is so long!

Wow nursery! Do you actually get to listen to a lesson now? Weird :)
For camera suggestions I really like mine (and my mom and brother have one that's similar) and now that I look at it I think it's the same kind that Danielle has - so it must be good :)
Can't wait to see the house and your belly soon!

That is SO sad that your camera broke! I don't know how I would survive a day without mine. I will be looking forward to some fun pictures soon then! And I LOVE the name Addie...that is DARLING. Let me know when you are down this way again! It's been awhile! (Oh and I met a boy...that I like...a lot!) :)
